POAMN invites you to our 2024 conference, May 29-30, in San Diego. Join ministry leaders, chaplains, and lay leaders for fresh perspectives on older adult ministry. SHUTTLE

POAMN has coordinated shuttle buses and vans to transport conference attendees to and from Solana Beach Presbyterian Church. The shuttle schedule is below:

Wednesday, May 29

  • 8:00 a.m. – shuttle(s) depart from TownePlace Suites San Diego Airport
  • 7:30 p.m. – shuttle(s) depart for TownePlace Suites and Hampton Inn

Thursday, May 30

  • 8:00 a.m. – shuttle(s) depart from TownePlace Suites San Diego Airport
  • 4:00 p.m. – shuttle(s) depart for TownePlace Suites and Hampton Inn

 

You do not need to be staying at the TownePlace or Hampton Inn to join the shuttle, but you do need to get to/from the TownePlace on your own.

Please let us know if you plan to use the shuttle so that we can reserve enough seating.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, POAMN has had to change the venue for its 2024 National Conference. The event will now be at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church, NOT Point Loma Community Presbyterian Church. The new location is 20 miles north of the previous facility. All other arrangements (dates, times, program schedule) remain the same, including hotels.

POAMN will organize transport from the hotels to and from Solana Beach for each day of the conference.

San Diego International Airport is the closest airport to Point Loma Community Presbyterian Church.

The church is just 3 miles from the airport and both hotels contracted for the conference are located next to the airport.

Parking is available at Point Loma Community PC’s parking lot on Udall Street or on any of the streets surrounding the church.

Traveling without a car?

POAMN will help conference attendees with carpooling and group transportation between the conference
site and hotels. Additionally, taxi, Uber, and Lyft services are available.
