Hello, members and friends of POAMN.
As Easter approaches, I want to share with you an amazing group called Light of Grace.
Light of Grace is a dance and American Sign Language (ASL) ministry for adults with various special needs. The performers share the universal language that almost everyone can understand.
Putting together their dances requires lots of patience and perseverance by the performers, shared Linda Weaver, the group’s director. However, the rewards everyone receives are monumental. The parents of members of Light of Grace have learned that music and dance help their adult children’s brains and bodies become better connected and coordinated.
Hosted by St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Tucker, Georgia, the group is now in their 11th year.
Last week Light of Grace had an amazing time of praise and blessings as they performed their 2023 Easter Blessings show. Enjoy their dances At the Cross and Hymn of Heaven, available on YouTube, in celebration of this holiest of all holy seasons.
Have a blessed Easter!
