Replacing shoes regularly is an important component of maintaining good foot health. Many of us wear shoes for far too long simply because we don’t know the impact old shoes have on our feet.
According to SoleScience, shoes should be replaced every 8-12 months for most people. This, of course, is a general rule of thumb; some shoes will last longer, and some will wear out more quickly.
Is it time for you to invest in some new shoes? What new adventures or hobbies can a new pair of shoes help you undertake? Consider how lacing up a new pair of shoes can help you share your talents with others.
With the theme Walking in New Shoes, POAMN’s 2023 conference hopes to inspire you to serve God, your church, and your community in different ways. The conference is September 14 and 15 at Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church outside of Detroit. Explore new paths with local and international service organizations. Enjoy worship time for your soul. Join in conversations with other older adults and leaders of older adult ministries.
Many details about the conference including registration are available now on our website. In the coming weeks, look for more conference updates on poamn.org, by email, and on Facebook. We hope to see you there at Grosse Ile, Michigan. Register by August 9 for a discount on your registration fee.
Already a member of POAMN? If so, we thank you. If you are not a member of POAMN, join as part of your conference registration to take advantage of member pricing.
